Technical

Do you offer technical support services?

Virtuosity.online does not provide tech support or have a tech department. We can provide some guidance, however if you continue to have difficulties, we suggest you contact the technical support person of your choosing to review the equipment you are using and better optimize your experience with classes or videos.

What video platform do you use?

All of our recorded videos are shared via private YouTube sharing direct to your YouTube account address.

How do I know what email address is associated with my YouTube account?

The email address linked to your YouTube account is the one you use to sign into YouTube.

Why does the video link I received say “Private” when I click on it to watch?

If you have purchased a video, it is sent to you via a private link to your email. If you click on the link and YouTube opens telling you the video is “Private”, this indicates that YouTube did not open with the account address you provided and with which the video was shared. Double check the YouTube account address that opened and either switch accounts (many people have multiple YouTube accounts) or if you only have one account, contact admin@virtuosity.online to provide the correct email address associated with your account.

What kind of device can I use?

Our live classes and video recordings can be viewed on most smartphones, tablets and desktop/laptop computers.

 

Registration and Attendance

What if I cannot attend a class I have registered for?

If you registered for a class and a conflict prevents you from attending, please email admin@virtuosity.online and request a video recording of the class. We would be more than happy to provide this to you once the video is ready for distribution.

What if I cannot attend a class for the entire time?

If you find yourself having to leave class early, please email admin@virtuosity.online and request a video recording of the class when it is available.

What if I have technical problems during a class?

If you have technical problems during a class and must log out, feel free to log back in when your technical difficulties have been resolved. If the technical disruption prevents you from completing the class, contact admin@virtuosity.online and request a video recording.

How do I know if I am good enough to participate in a class?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Do I have to audition?

Masterclasses often offer the opportunity for several class participants to perform. If you are interested in performing during a masterclass, an audition is required. Details regarding the audition requirements and timeline are provided following registration with intent to perform.

Do I have to prepare for classes?

Most classes do not require preparation. You may find it helpful, however, to set up your space for optimal participation. This may include having your digital device and headphones (if needed) accessible, a notepad and pen to remember key details, and a comfortable space to listen/participate in the class.

For our Feldenkrais classes, having a space to lay on the floor (with/without a yoga mat) or a chair nearby is helpful for many of the exercises.

Performers during a masterclass may want to review our suggested zoom sound settings to optimize sound during the performance. In addition, having your music and stand accessible as well as a quiet space to participate in the class with few distractions is helpful.

Can I register for multiple classes?

We encourage students to register for as many classes as are interesting to you. There is no limit to the number of classes one may attend.

What if I just want to watch?

Most of our classes offer Q&A or another form of dialogue, however if you are interested in just watching and listening with your camera off, we welcome you.

Do you have professional development classes for teachers?

Our classes offer teachers a wide array of interesting and specialized topics, however at this time we do not offer professional development CEUs.

Can my private teacher attend a class I am participating in?

Anyone who registers for a class is welcome to attend.

Are classes recorded for later review/study?

Yes. All of our classes are recorded and available to those who purchased a recording upon registering for the class. Recordings following regular classes typically become available 3 days after the live class and masterclass recordings become available 5 days following the live class. All of our recordings are then posted to our Videos page for purchase at anytime.

How long to I have to watch a class video?

Once the video is sent to you, you have two weeks to view the class video. You may watch it as many times as you like during that two week period.

 

Payment

How do I pay for registration?

Payment for classes or videos is simple when following the registration or purchase process on our website. Credit/Debit cards are accepted.

Do you have financial aid?

At this time we do not offer financial aid.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Gift certificates are available for purchase on our site. We have gift certificates for live classes or gift certificates for videos. Please visit either the Classes page or Videos page depending on which gift certificate type you would like to purchase.
